San Francisco’s newest premier vintage shopping destination!
San Francisco's finest vintage boutique offering high quality apparel, accessories, and jewelry from 1920s-1960s, for men and women.
Proprietor Oran Scott, ten-year employee and manager of the highly–regarded La Rosa Vintage, has quietly transformed the former Expose retail space into an elegant, welcoming 1940s, art-deco-appointed destination for men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, and fashion must-haves for the vintage life-stylist and the modern fashion conscience.
Relic Vintage will outfit the customer head to toe in fashions from the 1920s through the 1960s, filling a niche that is currently missing in the San Francisco vintage fashion world. The main focus of the shop is to provide ready-to-wear, mid-century clothing of the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Need that vintage outfit repaired or tailored to fit just right? Relic Vintage has that covered too, as one step into the shop will tell you that the proprietor isn’t just selling the clothes, but knows his trade and his customers’ taste.
Hints of the former retail space remain only in layout, as an art deco color palette, light fixtures, furniture, cabinetry, and even retro-inspired curtains provide the perfect backdrop to showcase the store’s wares: suits, dresses, and accessories such as shoes purses, hats and costume jewelry to create the perfect outfit for an event such as the Art Deco Society’s Preservation Ball, the annual Gatsby Picnic, Viva Las Vegas, Tease-O-Rama, or any retro-themed party or event. The warm vibe of the store with its antique armoire, dark wood cabinetry, and its knowledgeable shopkeeper will inspire even the average customer to don a fedora and be transported into another era. From the revamped window displays to the leopard print chaise to the custom-designed vintage floral print curtains, Relic Vintage has covered its bases. Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire may have brought attention to the fine art of classic fashion, but Relic treats it as a lifestyle – built to last.
